Kacey Jeffers is a self-taught photographer and artist from the island of Nevis, born in 1988 and now based in New York City. His work is rooted in storytelling—often intimate, sometimes observational, always human. Whether capturing friends, family, or strangers, he’s drawn to moments that blur the line between staged and spontaneous, revealing something honest and quietly powerful.
Much of Kacey’s work reflects the personal and cultural texture of Caribbean life, but it also speaks to universal themes: memory, domesticity, youth, leisure, representation, and self-expression. Kacey’s photographs remind us of our shared need—for connection, for belonging, and for stories that make us feel less alone.
His images have appeared in The New Yorker, TIME Magazine, FT Weekend, The Wall Street Journal, and campaigns for brands like Bergdorf Goodman, Lululemon, Saucony, and the Nevis Tourism Authority.
A Sagittarius through and through, Kacey loves swimming in the ocean, playing pickleball, people-watching, movies, deep conversations, and impromptu karaoke sessions.
